Thanks to everyone who agreed to participate in the garage sale for our March program. We will have 15 tables and 13 vendors.

Saturday, April 5, 2025 Program: Quilt Bindings

Our April program will be a demo all about binding. Some of us hate it, while others feel that it is a relaxing way to put that final finishing touch on our master pieces.

Saturday, May 3, 2025 Program: Challenge Quilt Presentation and Installation of New Officers

May will be our program all about the challenge quilt for this past year. Prepare to be awed!

Saturday, June 7, 2025 Annual Ice Cream Social

We will finish out the year of programming with an ice cream social in June. Another opportunity to eat, talk quilting and enjoy the fellowship that makes Maye River Quilters so special!

MRQ Workshops

Saturday, April 5, 2025, Workshop

Unfortunately, Pat Wys will not be able to teach us the basics of the tools for LeMoyne Trails.

At the March meeting Fran will have a resource list of videos and technique sheets available to get ready for the May workshop and how the tools work. She has watched the Rapid Fire LeMoyne Star tool rulers and she thinks they will give everyone what they need to be ready to take the May 4th workshop. She has also been assured by many of our veteran Diana Mann students that she will take you through the same steps as the videos to make your LeMoyne Star Blocks and your snail trail blocks. Pat was as disap-pointed as I am sure all of us are but hopefully she will be back at the meetings soon.

After watching the videos I have decided to take my first Diana Mann workshop and I hope you will too!!!

Sunday, May 4, 2025 Workshop Lemoyne Star
Diana Mann and Studio 180 Tools

This pattern uses the Lemoyne Star and Square Squared tools. The Tucker Trimmer is also highly suggested. Students will learn how make Lemoyne Star blocks and snail trail blocks as well as how to put the final quilt together.
